On March 26th, 2023, Straus Scholar Yaakov Willner (YC ’25) was invited to present on his paper The Eichmann Trial and Rousseau’s Social Contract at the eighth annual Undergraduate Judaic Studies Conference at the University of Chicago.

On May 3rd, 2023, the Straus Center and the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Honors Program hosted Dr. Marc B. Shapiro, a renowned scholar of Jewish history, theology, philosophy and Jewish literature.

On May 7, 2023, students and faculty of the Straus Center convened for the Straus Scholars Program's Closing Dinner at Congregation Shearith Israel in New York.
